Pastor LES LIGHTNER
July 2001 - 2004
Leslie Lightner recently joined Winebrenner's faculty
as Assistant Professor of Christian Ministries. He also
serves as Director of Field Education and Director of
the Doctor of Ministry Program.
He received his B.A. in History from Thiel College,
the M. Div. from Winebrenner Seminary, an M.A. in
Christian School Administration from Grace Seminary,
the D. Min. in Parish Administration from Pittsburgh
Seminary, and an Ed. D. in Adult and Community
Education from Ball State University.
Leslie previously taught courses in spiritual
formation at the Graduate School of Christian
Ministries at Huntington College in Indiana. He has
taught a variety of courses through the Adult and
Professional Studies Program of Indiana-Wesleyan
University.
He is an ordained minister in the Church of the United
Brethren in Christ and served churches in Ohio,
Pennsylvania, and Indiana from 1977-1999. From
1986-1994 Leslie served full-time on a multiple staff
as Associate Pastor and Minister of Christian Education
at College Park Church, Huntington, Indiana.
Dr. Lightner has contributed articles to the Church
Educator and the United Brethren, as well as
chapters to Theological Perspectives published
by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ.
Dr. Les Lightner says, "I love Winebrenner
Seminary, and believe after 22 years of pastoral
ministry God has brought me full circle, back to the
place where I started my seminary education. It is a
privilege to be involved in the ministerial preparation
of servant leaders."

Welcome Rev. Krcal
Richard N.
Krcal was born and raised in the Cleveland, OH area. He
got saved at a Primitive Methodist Church at the age of
20. He worked at National Acme in Cleveland for 25
years. Mr. Krcal began preaching in his home church and
part time in Glen Richey, PA.
He became a full time minister in 1977 after he
received a bachelor degree in Bible Theology. Rev.
Richard N. Krcal has served in the following churches:
Akron, OH; Johnstown, PA; and in Mansfield, OH before
coming to Findlay, OH in 1992. He is married and has
has 4 children and 12
grandchildren.
